Anyone having problems with making calls? I just switched over from Cell one and for the last 3 days everytime I try to call someone on the At&t network, its saying;' call can not be completed as dialed" or it goves me a fast busy signal. Now im in a profession where people call me on my cell anytime. I cant have this! Anyone know whats going on? i called my local store and they said towers were being worked on and had no idea when this would stop. Now i just got these phones on Saturday March 22...if this continues I might have to cancel the whole account. If I do, will I get subject to charges for cancelling?

so, is AT&T the only one that works on their towers? Or does everyone elses towers work 100% when being worked on?

are you including the area code? you should always save all your phone numbers in your phone with the area codes.

Sounds like user error. area code? sim card set up correctly? Have you ever been able to make calls? Is the phone junked?

I feel like customer care will always say, "the towers are being worked on" to avoid explaining anything.

Im in area code 845, all calls are made with the area code from cell phone. I even tried using land lines and calling and still get the same message. Its not all the time. its random times of the day. It reminds me of back in the day when everyone had a 800 number for their phones and it was too much. i have a 699 number ported from sprint from back in the day. It just started 3 days ago. I have 2 brand new motorola razr v3xx. in fact i just tried it right now...all circuits are busy is what i get when i just called my cell phone at 3:20pm.....3:21pm ok just tried it again from a land line dialing the area code and then my number and it worked.....3:22pm did it again...got all circuits are busy....3:25pm called wife on her cell....all circui...

It sounds like tower maintenance. If one antennae goes down it's very possible that all circuits are busy if the tower was already at capacity. Ask the local stores, preferably COR, for the best answers in this situation. Or call customer care until you talk to someone who sounds confident in their answer. I'd hate to see a customer go over something that's nothing.

I went today and they said that they are working on the towers in my area where I live and work. Also this guy at At&T said that when calls are made from cell one customers, they have priority to go through. I dont get it. He also said it might be fixed by June! I mean is this a network problem or what. Is anyone in the hudson valley, NY having this problem? Well all I know is that I cant wait for June for it to be fixed.

My guess is that the towers in your area were owned and operated by Cellular One. They are probably still working on them in making the transition to AT&T specs. That's why Cell One calls would go through before what were roaming calls.

4-11-2008 Problem is still occuring. I got a new recording..instead of "all circuits are busy" i had gotten a " the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected..message 3, switch 145" I ve been taking to a senior technician and he has been working on it. I mightg have to change my numbers. The two phones that had the problem are 699 exchanges. They told me the port process was fine. The tech still wanted to sort the problem and fix it, and wanted me to change my number at a last resort. I really dont want to change it, but, if I have to..i guess I will. I would switch to verizon in order to keep the number , but there might be problems porting that , and I dont want to take a chance. Hey maybe AT&T can give me 2 free blackberrys f...
