Yes You Can, That's What I Did. It's easy. Just make sure after you unlock the iPhone you DO NOT update the firmware until the new update of the unlocking software comes out, otherwise, the phone will re lock.

Just call and add the data plan on while on ur CURRENT phone.......

Oh and FYI dont spend 500 or 600 on an unlocked iphone. Buy the iphone, for 399 or 499 and there is really cheap software that I got called (One-Click) it was 18.99, im sure you can find cheaper but thats what I got!

Hope that helps.

So you've got an iPhone on an ANR plan and a prepaid line?

I can't count the emails I've seen about not putting an iPhone on ANR plans. Do it if you want, but it's your ass if you get caught. Is it so important to you to carry a phone that you aren't even allowed to sell that you'll risk losing your ANR plan permanently?

No, I just have an anr and its not really that serious if I lose it forever. I just wanted to know if anyone was doing it or if it was even possible.

That first part was for specialxoxo

People did it in my area, and they lost their plan for it. IMO, if you're gonna do it just change it to a regular plan. Its not worth the grief they'll give you later for it.

As far as the prices go, its not that much of a discount for the ANR stuff anyway. Once I added 5000 nights and PDA to mine it's already at $65 a month. Once I'm off it'll be $90 a month. I'm saving, but not that much.

True, its not that big of deal to have that iphone but I want to see for myself what all that talk is really about. Or maybe I'll get The LG Vu when that comes out. Anyway, thanks for you input.
