Refurb iphones $200-$250????
From what I have read this is only going on in some North East stores, has anyone heard about this??

yeah some of the stores here got them...I work in NH, I would say 2-4 stores got them they are refurb 4&8 gb Iphones

The online Apple store has refurbed iPhones every now and again. Today, they have the 8GB version refurbished for sale. Guess the price?

Hey I found a store in CT that has them instock. I have a friend up there that can go pick it up for me, and mail it down. But...the rep that I spoke with said that the refurb iphones are only for new activations and that they would have to run a credit check with my friend. I was hoping that my friend could just take in $250 and buy the iphone, ship it to me and I could activate through itunes. I am current customer, and I don't think its cool that this offer is only for new activations. HELP! What should I do?
