Roaming in Purto Rico

On a Cingular nation plan, do you pay romaing in Purto Rico, or is it covered by cingular, meaning i am not charged if i use my phone over there.

Also Another question, can i send an international text message to anybody in the world that has a cell phone, or are there only certain ones?

You're covered in Puerto Rico.

Text messages sent out of the US are .20/each, and THEORETICALLY work with any company.

You are covered in P. R. but the text messaging thing is a toss up. go to the Cingular Website and see what carriers are listed for that country and the go to the old AT&T Wireless site and compare the findings. Those carriers listed should be the arriers to which we can send Int'l messages to effective in February sometime.
