10,000$$$$ and youd probally get an original motorola mobile device. its 3 feet tall 1.5 feet wide weighs 60 pounds and has a 45 inch solid un movable antenae. it features touch tone dialing and a screen to see what numbers youve enterd. it also has 7 buttons as opposed to the prevoius model wich only had 4. its powerd by a seperate 50 pound battery wich you carry on your back, and a set of wheels to tow your phone only costs 50 bucks more! talk about deal of the century...

Just curious why you think you would get any other phone but the one you had insured. If you own a Ferrari and it's stolen you don't get a Focus from the insurance company. The deductible is $50.00 w/ Cingualr and $35.00 w/ ATT rate plan.

The reason i asked if i would get any other phone is because this phone is backordered and they are no longer offring it when you file for an insurance claim. Anyway like i was saying the are going to give me a Refurbished Motorola V551

What you fail to make notice of is that phones don't last forever and that you are not special to the phone's manufacturer... In no way was is promised that you would receive an identical brand new replacement for the phone that you had... "Closest like replacement" was the verbiage used with insurance and the statement read to you may vary as according to what can be sent to you, again, VARYING according to what is available... Does this mean that you can sit at your computer and curse until a supervisor gives you what you want? Not a chance, now read the terms set forth to you before you agree to them

I don't think he does fail to notice that. It seems to me he was just asking what the "Closest like replacement" was to his phone because he understands that he is not going to get the same phone if they don't make it anymore...

I think it has the word "seed stock" in it. I don't have the updated brochures though.

I signed up for ins. 5 or so years ago. So I havent seen a brochure since then. What does "seed stock" mean? Seems like this ins. is like all the rest, ie, med., dental, auto, homeowners.

If you run across one that would be fine. I actually have an 8265 that is 2 and has begun to act up. 1, I wonder what the replacement would be. Which is what I remember, replacement, and 2, I do not want a refurbished phone.

My brand new SE-t637 arrived yesterday as a free upgrade for a 2-yr. contract extension. It comes with car charger and wired headset free @ zero shipping cost. You'll pay the $18 contract fee plus sales tax, which is cheaper than the insurance deductible.

That's why insurance is kinda bogus. Odds are, by the time you have a claim, your phone will be free anyway. It makes sense to cancel it after a year.
