AT&T Raises Messaging Rates
Today, 10:41 AM by Eric M. Zeman

I doubt it. We didnt let anybody cancel for free when we changed our text rates as it isnt a materially adverse change due to the fact you dont have to pay that rate if you choose a messaging plan or just not to text.
An example of a materialy adverse change would be if a provider were to change their surcharges wich the consumer can't control like we did (Sprint) at the begining of the year and thus many people ave canceled this month for free.

When Cingular made a change (I believe in 2007) they did not let people out of their agreements. Some carriers choose to allow subscribers out for this reason, Cingular did not. Based on that I doubt they will do it again.

My center didn't and your shouldn't have either becasue as per KMS document "Text messaging rates increase" it is not a materially adverse change as customers have the option to add a text package to their account.

Like everyone is saying... Not gonna happen. The only ways I know how to get out of an ETF is either getting some rep in retention who just doesnt care & will let you out free o charge, or if the person dies.

Hardly. I was able to successfully cancel my ex's line, which was on MY account, when he died. No ifs, ands, or buts. Thankfully I had him listed as an authorized user. May the douche rot in hell... 😈

Lets see... After 4 years, it all adds up...
Treated me like crap. Expected me to take care of the world. I was used to it, doing my husbandly duties. Over the last year of the relationship, it all fell apart. The things that caused it to be over are the following:

Moved me to Miami for his job & family, just to have to move back 3 months later. This cost me about 3k. Then he quit his job & didnt work for 4 months, JUST BECAUSE. Got evicted from our gorgeous apartment due to not being able to make the bills. Had to move into the ghetto. Put me another 5k in debt. Spent 4 months paying off debt right and left. THEN he told me he wants to move back to Miami to be with his family. Told him I didnt want to due to debt, but he left anyway. Wh...
