Well, depends on where you are. Each place may have different rates of dropped calls. Some carriers work better than others based on such factors as geography, weather conditions & what not. You might want to ask people in your area if they have good service & how the quality is.

Ask him why they need more towers to cover the same distance... thus could lead to more problems and or drop calls 😕

Well, from what I understand... More towers in the same place can do good. It increases call volume capability & clarity. More reception means better quality & lessens the chance to drop calls. For instance, I know there are 3 towers really close to where I live (which are quite noticeable structures). I get GREAT reception. From what I have learned along the way is that they lay them out kinda like a honeycomb. Sometimes they overlap alot to get rid of dead spots and such. I don't really see how this could pose a problem, except the classic cancer argument.........

BTW, I didn't reply to Shoota because it seemed to me like he was looking everywhere for a fight. Had a couple of run-ins today ☚ī¸

Yeah I get a few dropped now and then. Redial works great. My brothers are on Verizon in Montana. I was on the phone with him yesterday and he said his phone was dropping all day long. HE dropped 5 times in a half hour. So much for the best network. But he lives where the buffalo roam and has no other choice,

Dropped calls are not all that bad considering the technology and convenience of a portable phone.OF course those who never experienced 20 years of adult life without a cell phone could never understand that concept.
