Attn sales reps!!!! A moment....
So I decided to go to an AT&T COR store in my area to have a look at the LG Shine in person. It was not busy at all except for me and 1 other customer. While looking at the shine, I overheard the other salesperson being a total tard & not doing their job very well. Providing FALSE tech specs right and left and just being a total tard. Here is a rough breakdown...
Lady: I just need a basic phone that I can hear clearly on...
Salesdolt: Well you might consider the Blackberry Pearl! It can do (insert VASTLY incorrect tech spec here, such as 4mp camera and WiFi). I think you would really like this!

Wow... You dont get it. First off, I am not just some stumbling fool who happens to come on PhoneSccop and post some random blasting message. Most of the "ole-timers" know who I am. I have made it a point in my life to know all that there is about AT&T. I used to be QUITE active on this board and would spend hours a day chatting it up with the “ole-timers†about the old AT&T/Cingular/New AT&T. Due to life, I just don’t have the time anymore. I still check in from time to time and post about my mishaps or to get clarification & help when my friends just don’t know. All I said was that you are posting one bad experience - and that tends to be the trend in these forums. No one ever comes on and posts about what great service they got - people come on here to vent and it often makes reps look like a bunch of deadwood.
I beilieve in my original post I also said that you were a well informed customer - and that it is nice to see people like yourselves in our locations. Not once did I refer to you as anything close to a "stumbling fool".

Understood. My apologies if my posts seem... self righteous. Yes, I DID call myself the white cellular knight. Yes, this DOES sound like I have a big head. But I cant really help it. When I go to a store and my friends or their coworkers are looking at me to subtly give them the answer, you kinda get a big head about these sorts of things.
