A female customer calls in wanting to remove air detail from her bill that has already cut. Of course the rep courteously advises her that unfortunately since the bill has already cut we can't prevent it from this bill but can for later bills... She starts crying and screaming saying that we are going to cause a divorce if her husband sees some numbers on that air detail... She says we don't care about customers and that we're ruining her life...

Of course this call gets uglier but I want opinion from customers mostly... This is a common call... Is the wireless provider really at fault because somebody can't stop screwing around?

If she'd keep her legs closed she'd have nothing to worry about. It's not like Cingular singled her out and said, yeah we're gonna screw her bad! (no pun intended). We'll purposely not take off the call details so her husband finds out she's been sleeping around on him! Umm, no. I don't know the billing process or whatever. But I'm sure there comes a point where they just cant change things. Lets say, if the bill has been mailed out? What does she expect? For Cingular to send out someone to stop the USPS, get her bill, take it back to HQ and change it? Right. Like I said, if she'd keep her legs closed, she wouldn't have the darnest thing to worry about.

See , i'd suggest to her to register online for OCS, and tell her she could burn the bill, and if the hubby asks where it is, she could tell him she regisstered for paperless billing. 🤣

This is why care has a negative view of customers. This type of thing happens all of the time. We are expected to be accomidating in all situations and it is rediculous.

Last time I took a call from a gall asking to stop the detaill billing and removing the voice mail from her service.

She was candid enough to tell me she was seeing someone else.

Believe it or not in Los Angeles there are a few street intersections set up with traffic cameras that take pictures to infractors running orange to red, red, right turn only on red, left turns in orange to red lights etc. focusing on the front and rear license plate and front widshield to capture the drivers' face, now if the driver is accompannied by another person of the opposite sex, the infraction is nuled as one driver brought and won a lawsuit claiming his marriage disolved due to a photo ticket arrived to his home showing his other half as the passeng...

Detailed billing is written on the brochures under included features, so that wouldn't really apply.

That's a typical retarded dumb ass thing to do. Complain when you don't have the call details and then threated to sue when you do. Goto Verizon they charge 5 bucks per line.

VZW charges $5 per line for detail billing? Oh, my goodness. You sure about that? 🙄

That's almost like the lady last night that called in about harassing text messages. How horrible it was, and this man was stalking her and wouldnt stop sending text messages.

So here's how it unfolds, we got a good chuckle out of it anyway: She wants us to block incoming text messages, which we can't do at this time, though possibly 05' we'll have call block/sms block/private number block etc.....anyway, so she says "I'm receiving harassing text messages; what are you gonna do" Our options for the time being are a) file a police report or b) we'll change your number for you and there's no charge. So, she said well that's not good enough we had better block them. Again, I advised her of what her options were and apologized for the inconv...

Oh yuck, I *hate* these calls! Women who call in fifty times a day to "check all the calls on their other phone" and copy down all the numbers--dammit, I don't want to smell your dirty sheets! If you think someone is messing around on you, does it really make ANY difference to have it proven? Isn't the fact that there's no trust in your situation bad enough, you have to involve a third party in your private life? Besides, is there anyone still so clueless that they still don't know enough not to use your own phone for illicit canoodling phone calls? Apparently so... 🙄

(insert the chatchie girl head shake thing) and her husband who aparently has been on the phon listening the whole time, starts asking me all these questions. asking me to proove that he didnt call china or mexico for personal reasons. i told them both like 50 times i could not proove or disproove what the calls were about based on duration or time of day. they started arguing with eachother an **** about him cheating on her and shes snooping too...

I think anybody who's been on the phones a while will have a story. I got a woman once who wanted to know about overage charges on her bill. She's upset because she got charged for nights and weekends that she thought began at 7 but actually began at 9. So as a courtesy (I was in a really nice mood that day) I offered to credit back all calls made after 7pm.

So we're going through the calls and I see one particular number come up at least 2-4 times a day. Long calls too, 30 minutes to 2 hours long. At all hours of day too, some around 7 or 9 pm, some at noon, some at 4 or 5am. The woman doesnt recognize the number at first, but then starts to remember. She repeats the number out loud and starts cursing, then apologizes to me and says that...
