i have an account with at&t and i just broke my phone(again). i was wondering if i could buy one of those tanks made for nextel and stick my sim card in it and use that. if not, r there any phones made for at&t that r built tough(well, tougher than normal). thanks in advance.

Well at&t has a really tuff phone. its Motorola V365. At our store in Georgia its one of our top selling phones, its hard to keep them in stock! ok story, guy came in who own this phone. He is a semi truck driver...dropped the phone and ran it over with his truck...got out and picked it up out of the asphalt and the only damage it had was a crack on the scree. Not sure how true that was but hey pretty impressive. 😎

Sadly, the Motorola C139 prepaid phone has been an incredibly tough phone for us. I do recommend the V365 but if your looking to go through several of them no matter what it's much cheaper. I've seen them as cheap as $8. That and on both of those the battery life is near ten hours.

Go to walmart or wherever and buy a Go Phone kit. I bought the Moto C168i and it works like a charm, and I only spent 19 bucks!!! All you do is slip your post-paid SIM card in it, power it on, and GO!

Altough Nextel uses sim cards, it's on the IDEN network and won't work with at&t.
