Regarding plans that include a certain number of txt. msgs. such as 250, 1500, etc. are both incoming and outgoing messages counted in this number?

Thanks for info.

Wow, TMobile SMS rates are cheap! .05 overage, 300 for 2.99, 1000 for 6.99 and unlimited for 9.99. Gotta love cafeteria style pricing structures...

If you are going to use it for International Text messaging like I do , even if you pay for a certain package, Cingular will still charge you .20cents per text. So to me those SMS packages are not useful.

Uhm... no. If you have the package and txt msg int'l it will still fall within your designated package... if you go over that package then you get charged .20/msg

"Text with your friends, family, and co-workers around the world.
Send and receive text messages to users on more than 100 carriers in 65 countries worldwide.
There's no monthly charge to send or receive international text messages.
It's just $0.20 to send a message from the U.S. to international destinations. Normal domestic text messaging rates apply to receive international messages. "

which means that if you send a text from home to international address then you will be charged 20 cents but receiving them has no additional charges which in turn means that if you have a package you will only be billed extra for international text sent from your phone from the US. kee...

🤣

I understand how that would be confusing... What that passage is telling you is that you are currently capable of sending Int'l text msgs... If you have the Pay-Per-Use this is how you will be billed...

If you have a package though... Int'l txt msgs fall within that package... Should you go over you'll be billed as specified.

Don't take offense... I'm not laughing at you so much as i'm laughing at our site... It desperately needs to be revamped.

Actually I should be apologizing... I retract my previous statement... 😳

You were right... Apparently even if you have a package... Int'l SENT txt msgs will be billed the standard .20/msg and not pull from the bucket... Int'l msgs RECVD will pull from the bucket...

I tell you, ever-changing industry... 😉
