3G in Garland Tx
Hello AT&T reps. I live in the 75042 area and have a 3G phone. At my house I get no bars to 2 bars at times, but I can go about a mile down the street and get 5 bars. I was wonering if at&t will be puting up a tower in this area anytime soon. I have had no dropped calls at my house, but hust wondering. Is this 2 bars inside your house or on your porch? Sometimes building materials get in the way off signal.

You should have good coverage in your area, but there are some things to check. First of all, call customer care from another phone and have them do some troubleshooting on your line. If they cannot find any problem there, go by an AT&T store and have them replace your SIM card. If that does not take care of the problem, you may have a bad phone. If it is within 30 days of purchase, pack it back up and take it back to the store that you bought it in for exchange. You can get the same type of phone or try somethng different. If it has been more than 30 days since you purchased the phone, call 1-800-801-1101 for warranty exchange. By all means, don't sit there with a phone that gets poor reception when you can get a free replacement.
