Backup 3g
Having searched both hofo and googling for reviews of 3g models, I want some honest opinions of 3g models available.
Preferences:
Flip
Gmail java capable
Good/Great battery life in 2g mode
LOUD earpiece
mp3 ringtone capable
I've been glancing at the cu515, the a517, slm etc...
No interest in a slide...its a backup phone to an unlocked phone to be purchased at a later date, you know, a phone to use when I go around town
I've phonescooped them all and searched the threads around here and just want some general consensus on whats the best of the bunch.
Any insight would be much obliged.

cu575 trax is good
Nokia 6555 is also great
Only thing is 6555 battery life isn't good in 3g but I imagine its ok in 2g

I have the LGCU515 and I love it. It seems to have great battery life. I charged it Sat. night and this is thursday and I haven't charged it yet. Loud ringtones and ear peice. Haven't used the Internet. Hope this helps. I should point out that I am a light user.

To be honest, the n75 just doesn't excite me, and the v3xx just isn't my cup of tea, no no to motorola.
I think I am leaning toward the cu515 simply because it seems to have the loudest earpiece and thats always a concern of mine with Samsung. Hows the slim???
