Telegence.....

who here thinks it sucks? I DO!..only thing I like is the back date, and a few other features, but as a whole....too much work, too many errors. It would be nice if they were able to combine Telegence featurees, with Odyssey. Snooper sucks, Clarify has already been down a couple times.

Just seems like so much work getting family plans merged, or adding features, etc.....

I really like the things you can view on the bill, and be able to filter out calls....thats really nice.

we have clarify for two reasons.

1. people didnt like their jobs, and didnt complete commitments
2. people didnt like their jobs, and never memoed an account when they were supposed to.

unfortunately clarify is a poor implementation of a fix for this. fire the idiots who dont like their jobs and are just collecting a paycheck and making the rest of us work harder and fix more messed up issues.

(one of my coworkers call it a glorified notepad)

telegence needs something to stop it from crashing all the time.

snooper is good if you use it. but just like every other application we use it is web based from a central server therefore it sucks. telegence isnt even loaded onto a desktop we use a citrix app to access it from another...

funny, i have VERY little problems with Telegence here. As long as you know how to do things in the right order. and just hit "refresh" before doing anything. it never crashes. well, VERY rarley..hasnt happened in 6 months i'd say.

Keep in mind, I came from the "blue" side to the new CSE group. We had a tool called Webaxe. Great for resetting wap settings for cust mmode (media) as well as ringtone care tools.

Sounds like Siebel. Or at least how it was a year ago.

I'm a newbie SST from the Blue side and have yet to be trained on Siebel or Axsys; so when I went into the "I Can't Believe Six Weeks Is Being Crammed Into Two Weeks" CSE training I felt lost. I couldn't relate to the Care reps who have been there for awhile; some said "Oh, it's so much easier than Siebel" and such. I just wish I had more than two months experience before plunging headfirst into the Cingular programs.

Talk about stressed out. I think I just want the job of scanning coupons and checks for I-Vault. 😁

exactly. I came from the "blue side", so I kinda have the best of both worlds, if you will. Naturally, theres things that I love about both the 2 companies tools they give the employees to use. We hvae/had a tool for handset troubleshooting that blows away the quipment catalog. I still use it for the phones that ATT/Cingular both offer.

if you all want a good troubleshooting tool, search in CSP for "data support settings" i usually type in t3 handset info and get to it that way. uits in customer support tab.

it is a pdf document that has most of the current phones and how to get to varius things like message center number, gprs settings and other things like that

Sweet.......im going to check that out. I heard "rumors" that Cingular really liked Primus, and was going to try and keep it and implement the system to have the correct info for the new cingular phones. Would be nice.

this file is only in CSP

remember do a searh for t3 hanset info and click the data support settings.

there are two files, one for the menu trees and one which i prefer... the handset info is the one i prefer, it will tell you what the GRPS indicator looks like on each phone along with the menu tree selections to the most common techy oriented questions like message center number it has a link to the users guide as well as what buttons to puch for symbols like @ ! % etc. really easy to use tool and as long as you get it from CSP and not saving it you can get the latest updates to the document... the newest phones are usually put out approx 2 to 3 months after they have been released.

Wow, telegence is still around? When I worked for cingular is was such a pain in the butt. Remember how each market had a seperate log-in before it all was converted into one? Do ya'll still use compass?

At T-Mobile, our billing system is Samson, and it's Telegence with another name lol. However, it hardly ever crashes...it's pretty reliable. Remedy is our other system which is like backup for everything, thats easy as heck, too.

Is "ask jack" still around? I HATED that program with a passion! Streamline is totally awesome, which is our company's inranet...anything and everything you could possibly need is on there and it's so organized it's not even funny.

anyway...lol just chit chat...it just reminded me when I started at T-Mobi...
