I have a Nokia N75 and every now and then when I open the flip, it would ask: "Allow Sim Card to Send Message?". The left button is to "Send" and the right button is to "Cancel". So far I only "Cancel". What is that all about? Thank you so much for any help.

I saw that message before, it happened when I switched my SIM from one of my other phones to the N75 immediately after sending a text message, as in it hadn't send yet. So the N75 got it and is one of the few phones that asked whether to send or not.

Is your phone unlocked? I've had a ton of cell phones (including a branded ATT N75), and the only phones I've has ask me that were unlocked Nokia phones...I was told by Nokia that they were a way of your phone downloading the proper internet settings from your network. I think this is something that unlocked Nokia phones do. But if your is Cingular branded then I honestly don't know...

Don't cancel that process. It is simply updating some settings whether it be a voicemail server number, a text message center number, or some other settings on your phone. Most phones will do this automatically and not prompt you. It isn't costing you anything for this process.
