Post merger question
suppose the ATT and Cingular merger does happen what would happen to the service? would both just be combined. does anyone have any ideas how they would handle the TDMA and GSM service?

I they merge, it would be business as usual! ATTWS runs both tdma and gsm right now, so it makes no difference at all. Of course, that's just my guess!

even if it does come to a merger.it will be a few years before it actually takes place.it will have to go through shareholders from AWS.it ill have to go through NTT DOCOMO(the japanese company that owns about 15 - 20 % of AWS.then theris the FCC regualtors board,monopolies commision etc. so unless it happens tomorrow expect 2 possibly years maybe more before it all comes down .
