Does anyone know if the S730 is planned for AT&T? I need a new phone and this is the one I really want...but if it's not going to happen the pantec Duo looks ok.

Thanks!

From what I see on their site No att will not carry it. It uses the 2100 mhz for 3g and from what I've been told att only uses the 850 & 1900mhz.

I guess I'm not sure what that means...from

http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=728&view=1 »

the 730 is compatible with:

Cellular Networks: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850, UMTS1900, UMTS2100

Am I way off base? Is GSM850 & UMTS1900 different?

Sorry I'm just not up to speed on the 3g stuff.

Thanks

Right....I saw similar specs on pdadb.net. so does anyone thing this phone is coming to AT&T?

Or is anyone using the S730 on the AT&T network? I could have one of my colleagues pick one up overseas.
