6230 issues
i am still having problems getting pop3 email to my phone. i have gone to the nokia usa web site and downloaded the email settings and still get error message "you must subscribe to gprs". I have unlimited gprs and have the g with a square around it in the upper left of the screen. the other issue is i can not use a moto hs810 headset to do voice connect. i have tried all the fixes that have been previously posted. anyone have any other ideas? thanks

make sure your "username" and "password" are set to the specified CINGULAR settings. They are not you own username and password. These settings can be found in the "edit active service settings". also make sure your user name and password are CaSe SeNSiTiVe. i'd guess this was your problem as that's the error you get when they are not correct.
And for some reason I don't think the Voice Connect can be used with a wireless headset for some reason. I'll look into it.

actually i have been playing around w/the voice connect and it is working now. the settings that i am using are correct, as i entered them myself and then downloaded them from nokia usa and still not wkg. just double checked the settings and still not wkg

Did you setup your POP email account through the cingular website?
If you have not go to
http://www.cingular.com/media/media_net »
sign in your media net account, you will see the "sign in" on the right. After it lets you sign in you will see a link to email on the left, click and go to POP email options (it is down the page and small) and make sure your email POP settings are correct. You have to log on to media to get it but it has worked for me for years. If you have done this and it still does not work I don't know what to tell you, just trying to help. Any extra info you can give would help.
