Cingular Coverage Area...
Hi all, first post here, so forgive me if I've done anything wrong ðŸ¤
Couple questions about Cingular;
1. Is the coverage map available on Cingular website? Didn't see it on there.
2. Is there any info as to when Cingular will have service in a certain area? (My Zipcode: 24060)
3. Shouldn't Cingular have coverage in my area as AT&T NextGen GSM has coverage?

Unfortunately, your zip code is not in a Cingular coverage area. (according to cingular.com when I put in your zip code)
This is a Suncom market and service is sold thru them. Now, I do know that Cingular is going to be taking over some Suncom markets in the near future. But whether or not that affects your particular area, I'm not sure.
Just because ATTWS had coverage, doesn't mean that ATTWS sold service in your area. ATTWS had agreements with Suncom to provide service to its customers.
This is a Suncom market and service is sold thru them. Now, I do know that Cingular is going to be taking over some Suncom markets in the near future. But whether or not that affects your particular area, I'm not sure.

i think most of the suncom service areas cingular will be picking up is virginia. i doubt you will gain anything in west virginia. you could try a cingular north american plan. im not sure of coverage area in wv, but i do know you have more coverage area under those plans...more $, less minutes though.
