Please help w/ ?..PLEASE!!!

Hi I currently want to buy the motoE680 for Cingular however that phone only supports frequencies 900/1800/1900..And as we all know Cingular's frequencies are 850-800/1900 🤭 ..Will this phone still work in cingular? People tell me that I will miss out alot on reception, since I live in Los Angeles..Does anybody know If I will ? Does anybody know a site where I can find out frequency near my house.. People please Reply..Anfd if possible can you leave ur aim screen name..thnx it would be so much help.. 😢

Your phone will work, but your reception might not be the best. Several months ago, I would have told you not to worry. In california Cingular only operated on 1900 spectrum. However after the merger, it now operates the 850 spectrum(former ATT) too. And this addition has actually helped in Orange County, where I'm from. So now you'll be missing out on a bunch of reception. Sorry
