XBM Warranty Question
I have the V3XX and I'm still within my 1 year warranty. My phone screen has occasionally been blanking out so that I have to power of the phone. I am considering doing an XBM under warranty....I was just curious, do you think I will get an AT&T or Cingular branded V3xx? The issue is not too bothersome....but It way get worse....

There is really no telling which brand you will get. If I had to guess, I would say Cingular, but I could be wrong on that.

See, im not 100% sure how they do it. I dont know if they just take the phone as is and fix it then distrubte as is, or if they fix it then give it new housing. Any one work for XBm Warranty??? 🙂

The people that work at our XBM aren't working on the phones and don't ship them out either. They just process the orders. We'd have to ask someone in the warehouse.

the warehouse is ATC in Fort Worth Texas. Good luck contacting them, they dont deal with any customers, just carriers.
Did you know they also to warranty for t-mobile? They also send out a great deal of phones sold in the southwest and the south in general.
So they not only do refurb, but they help keep your precious ATT and t-mo stores socked.

My wife had an LGCG225. It didn't work right and they sent her an at&t phone. She had a Cingular phone at first.

it would depend actually, if we still have cingular branded v3xx and your phone is cingular branded then we will send you one, if you have att branded then you would be recieving att branded phones. if we are out of stocks for cingular branded and you have one, then we will send you att branded, and we from warranty would know that its att branded coz it would appear on our screen.

@ WM6user- im also a wsc rep....we could actually know that. on the selection page you would see there Izar v3xx-at&t, that is att branded. as long as it has att on the end, it means its att branded. 😁

So I guess when my issue becomes more problematic and I decided to warranty it I can try to request an at&t branded? I guess it couldn't hurt. Thanks everyone for your help!

Ok...perhaps I should have stated this in the initial question. I would like to know what the replacement is so that I may weigh my options. What would the replacement be when you are out of the E62s?

Thank you... I want to try the Blackberry Curve guess I will have to wait till I can upgrade and deal with the powering off and dropped calls.

i would suggest the new blackjack or the moto q9.
blackberrys are nice, but i have noticed the build quality on the curve is not as robust as these phones.

make sure u have XBM check both liq stickers on the v3xx. they goof up and only check one and most of the time get it wrong.
