MobiTV
20 channels of live streaming television... coming to Cingular...
...
ya i just read that.... sweeeeeeet! .. no i just need to get that EDGE enabled phone ive been meaning to get 😛
...
Dang, nothing about that on CSP (CIQ)... so my big question is.
"How much?"
I was hoping phone companies would just develop their phones with built in tv tuners instead of it being another feature for cellular providers to worry about. Just one more thing for people to complain to me about... *sigh*
...
woooo!! I was gonna post this..but I'm lazy. Now I need to get an edge phone. Hmm....Is the V551 edge, or bluetooth?
...
edge and bluetooth.... stupid v3 is only gprs... 😢
...
haw haw! V551 it is! *does a jig*
...
that's right... laugh at my pain. oh well, a free phone is still free. if the service pans out I might just buy myself one o' them for these boring days at work... now they just need to figure out a way for my xbox to play on my phone (NO! not n-gage... even though it's a good product. I wan't my halo2 and Fable)
...
n-gage is the spawn of satan. I have NEVER spoken to someone with an N-gage. EVER.
Stick to phones, nokia... 🙄
...
i play the tiger woods golf game on it in my store, but i have a sneaking suspiscion that the spawn of satan would be a lot cooler than the n-gage
...
the mobiTV is gonna be 9.99 per month billed though Direct Bill. (and obviously you would wanna have the Media Works pacK too for unlmited data)
Also the only phone working right now with the mobiTV is the 6620, im sure though the list will expand shortly
...
hahaha...touche'. 🤣
...
Tell me more? Any idea on when and are the new V551's going to be capable of utilizing MOBItv? I know they were working on getting them compatible.
...
Oh the torture of 1 frame per second...
I can't wait to watch some football at 1fps. Was that a fumble or wasnt it? I cant tell because even on the replays I miss the action as it fall somewhere in one of the other 29 frames that I'm missing.
This is not worth paying for until they can get it to at least 15fps.. stick with a watchman.
Also the commercial is stupid because portible 2 inch tv's have been around since the 80's. They should have had someone holding a cell phone to a tv as this guy walks around trying to listen to the audio on his phone.
