hi..just wondering, i originally have a sony ericsson t610 from T-mobile that uses a frequency band of GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz. i had just recently had it UNLOCKED when i cancelled my membership with them and now i want to use Cingular as my new phone service and wanted to activate this unlocked phone. However, i was quite confused about the fact that Cingular only uses GSM 800/1800/1900. Can i STILL activate this UnLoCkED phone for their network? and will it work?

i personally would go into a cingular agent/dealer that possibly sells both T-Mobile and Cingular and try and see if you can turn your unlocked T610 in and get some credit towards a T616.... We have the T616 for 150 and get a 50 dollar rebate... so i'm sure they would give the phone to you for 50 bucks and the rebate.. i know we would..that's just a suggestion though... however just go into a cingular store and they will tell you if it's going to work or not.....
