Release For Sony Phones??
Hello All.
I myself am an AT&T agent and things are well in my area, I was however wondering if anyone had any inside information on the release of the Sony Cyber Shot Phones on the Network
Specifically the K790, I heard it had problems with testing.
But I would be alot better off if I had some Sony Phones to Push. It's kind of frustrating dealing with the same type of phones week after week.

I had the k790a with no problems whatsover I doubt it will ever be released for at&t but who cares you can still buy it unlocked and use it flawlessly.

I have the 810 and everybody I sell phones to would love to have it, or some of their new cyber shots, but...At&t is missing out.
Sony is their only hope to compete with other companies "cool" phones, if you know what I'm getting at.

the W580 is coming next month sometime, although it doesnt have the great cameras the cyber shots have, it still has a decent 2 mp camera

I don't think at&t will start pushin out awesome phones like that till their 3G network is more nationwide than just big cities.

There are plenty of 2/2.5 g phones that have plenty of awesome features. I think our phone lineup is ridiculous right now. The w580, k790a, and a couple others are a perfect example of this.

oh i think we have a great line up of phones, for right now, but I'm just saying we won't be getting phones like of the ones that are on the European market, till the 3g network has better coverage.

there are currently no plans to carry the k790. the k850 will be the first cyber-shot branded sony ericsson that att will carry. i haven't seen the k790 in testing at all. it was only a triband phone, all sony's we carry will be at least quadband except the w310 for go-phone.
the w580, z750, w310, & k850 are all the currently planned sony's on the books. w580 should drop any day now.

any clue as to when the k850 would come out? I would love having a branded one so I could get the 3g content.

christmas, i hope but probably not until first quarter 2008 sometime. we tend to test longer than most.
