The above statement could be found at newcingular.com when the merger process was in the beginning stages, but will we ever see truth to it? My thinking is eventually.
Other than what AT&T and Cingular offered in the way of phones before the merger, we have found just two new models after the first full week, the Motorola v551 and Razr V3.
Here we are on the week of Thanksgiving and the kickoff of holiday shopping on Friday, will we see some movement in the way of new phones becoming available?

Motorola V400p - Cingular 1st PTT phone
Ok that's 9 new phones, plus the V551, 682...

Don't forget the s710a (another Cingular exclusive I hear)and I think it's confirmed about the v635 (not the v620). I was toying with some lame imitation of the a630 by LG. Didn't like it but it may be out by Feb. 05. It doesn't open sideways but it slides sideways. There's this black samsung flip phone that I saw yesterday but didn't get the model name (really nice looking). That one along with the Samsung p777 are confirmed for 1st Q 05. That's all I have for now.

btw..the mpx220 is already out to cingular agents...we've already ordered some and two of our reps are currently using them.

Yes, they are. It was first concepted early this year, and has been in testing since summer. I think SimplyMarcus, and CainMarko have seen/tested these phones. I had also heard that SE's z500 was suppose to be PTT, too, but does not look like it.
