I don't know with the current model but there is supposed to be a new model coming out eventually that will have gps in one model and wifi in the other. I don't know about color scheme. A black one would be dead sexy though!

I would get the Curve but have heard after just a few days LOTS of dust somehow gets under display. Is ther a fix to prevent this? I might call BB and ask tomorrow.

The curve has a tiny space between the right side of the screen and the plastic faceplate. Mine had a lot of dust in it, almost 95% of that dust came when I had the phone in my cargo shorts pockets. So, I took my phone apart (gently) cleaned out the dust, bought a seidio case at seidioonline.com and now i am as golden as Jack Nicklaus.

Although it is EOL, the 8800 for me is simply the best device. The built in GPS is awesome with Google Maps and TeleNav. RF is great also. Gets service where my other blackberry's and phones will not.
The media player works well for MP3 and will also feature album art.
Oh, and no dust under the screen 🙂

just my 1/2 cent.
