well it was out for a period of time today....it kept saying they were updating it. plus i see they have added the v551 to the page and prices of the phones have changed some. like the lg 1400 i bought it online the other day for $29.99 and now its $129.99. sure glad i bought it sooner.

yeah im liking it - just wish the ringtones were a bit louder. - thats my only gripe....pondering if i should look at another model tomorrow....but overall i love this phone 😎

The v551 has external caller id, but on the LG you can set pics for caller id to show up without answering the phone... also, it you hold the camera button while the phone is closed, you can take pics with it closed... on the LG.

Well their phones and rates are down now. And if you go to attwireless.com and try to by a plan or phone it takes you to cingulars website. Well can't by att phones or plans anymore...

Do you know if the pic id on the 6230 or E317 is a thumbnail or regular?

Not sure on the 6230, but the e317 is full size pic... except on the external, but then again, the external is smaller...
