Okay everyone, Cingular has me hooked.

My question now is, to flip or not to flip? 😕

Which is better flip phones or bar phones and of each which are better flip models and better bar models?

Thanks in advance for any help. 😎

You're gonna get sooo many different responses on this one. Even though a lot of us have used many of the same phones, we've still formed different opinions.

I hate Siemens and Sony Ericsson. I've had so many returns on their products that I'm skeptical about their future ones, and wont order them until I've seen them perform. Sony Ericsson has a new flip phone coming out, but most companies that switch from one design to another have a few kinks to work out in their new models. I'm expecting a few bugs in the z500, but they may prove me wrong.

Nokia is tried and true, but no flip.

I view Motorola and Samsung the same as far as quality is concerned. So if you like either of them it just comes down to which has the features you'...

Ralph... how many returns on the SE T637 have you had... I know about 4 or 5 people with that phone and not one problem... I'm not doubting you, just curious... I think this has been one of the best phones I've had...

The 637 and 616 weren't a problem, but the 226 was foul. It was so bad our company wont even carry the 237.

So true... I work in a "cheap" part of town and I warn those customers asking for free phones that they're getting what they pay for, but they never listen until they bring it in with a problem. I don't even carry free phones anymore, and I have no reservations about sending those people who "need" the free phone to another store to get it. The $40 I'd make off it isn't worth the headache I'd get from servicing the phone in the future.

Non Flip...

Sony Ericsson T637... (even though you can't do the Music Tones, and camera could be better)

Nokia 6230- Overall great phone, but the screen is a little to small for my personal taste, but has everything and more...

Nokia 3120- Speaker phone... great sleek look, sounds great... again small screen and lacking in some other features like camera and blue tooth, but great phone non the less...

Flip...

Samsung e317...overall good phone
LG L1400... same thing...
Samsung x 427 and LG 1300 if you want cheap/free phone...

that is ALL I recommend...

Yep Yep... If you go for the X427... you may see some bad reviews on it... but that's been our most popular sold phone for a few months... so... if a lot of people buy them, then there are bound to be some bad ones in the bunch,...
