Do you think the RAZR 2 will be out by August 4th?

I know, I know, you probably don't want another one of *these* threads, but it is almost a need-to-know thing.

First off, I'm going home for 3 weeks on August 4th. I'm currently on Verizon and would like to switch to AT&T before I go home (or ASAP...I really want off this gravy train) so I can test reception both here and there.

My choices are for me to wait for the RAZR 2 to come out (which I REALLY want)....or go ahead and take the V3xx...which is nice, but why should I take it when it has almost the same features as my current phone when I can move up to the RAZR 2?

Thoughts, suggestions anyone?

I would definitely wait for teh RAZR 2. From what I've been reading so far its a much better phone than the V3xx

It's not bad, though I'm tired of it restarting by itself, etc. I blame that on the UI, because LG phones are well built.

I hated it because I left a perfectly good E815 for it, and got no music from it. Verizon told me that the software in my 8100 was "too new" to download music. That made me mad.

Verizon is craptastic like that.

Yay for non uniform UIs, and non locked out features.
