The name change will be in effect 05/20/2007 for customer care. No longer will we mention the Cingular name in our greeting. What we are going to say is still up in the air.

ATT.com/wireless?

Not att.com/mobility?

I like my cow-orkers, and the various benefits aren't so bad (nigh-unto free phone service? Awesome!), but the people at the top?

[redacted] Morons.

Ok - I can mostly understand the whole brand unity thing, and though I don't agree with it, but I could see a case for it.

But are they trying to confuse customers even more? No one is going to understand that the wireless/former Cingular section is a separate, subsidiary company, and why even begin to imply we're a different company from the old AT&T Wireless when we have AT&T wireless in the [redacted] URL?!?!?

We're just begging people to be more confused & frustrated. ☹️
