i'm trying to choose between the 6126 and the n75, i have an upgrade and i want a new phone just dont really know which of these 2 are better....im looking for a flip, good reception, loud speakers and spreakerphone and good battery life ...any suggestions will be appreciated...thanks

I've got both and each has some strong points:
N75
...Symbian OS - flexibility out the wazoo, tons of additional applications and increased functionality - you WILL have a learning curve if newbie.
...Not purely as "simple" to operate as 6126 - more things to do and keep track of (closing applications, etc.)
...Big (larger than I expected - a little uncomfortable for me width-wise). Doesn't "handle" for me as easily as 6126.
...Stunning screens
...Music Functionality is tremendous, but QUALITY is better on my 6126 - especially on the external speaker(s). The external speakers on my N75 suck! Listening with earpieces it's great.
...Call-quality wise they're about the same
6126
...Smaller, I find it easier to handle and manuever...

Excellent post. Based on what he wants, I would recommend the 6126 to the OP as well. And, he'll save some $$$ too so he could get a nice phone, the 6126, and used the money he saved to get a larger capacity memory card...as well as a pizza and some beer.
😁

As I stated in another post but wanted to reply directly to yours, based on the requirements you gave, 6126 is the better option for your preferences.

The N75 is an awesome phone, with loads of features & expandable software etc. It's also a kick-awesome mobile web browser. But if you don't need all that, I'd say go with the 6126.

I am trying to make the same decision - Nokia 6126 or N75. However, my #1 phone need is for good reception throughout the US - not just in cities, but in small towns. Would this alter any of your opinions folks?

I haven't traveled extensively with either since I've had them. My opinion is that since they're both Nokia's there's not going to be any difference between the two if you're a road warrior.

I've had the phone for a few days. I agree with everyone here in this forum, however, I must say that the batter life of the phone is very disconcering. Three hours is the most you have to use. That's if you use the phone. If you don't then the batter will last for a while. I myself do alot of things on the phone and I have come to the point that I need to take my "home" charger with me and keep a charge. In fact, when I'm driving I'm having to plug in the charger there too.
Yes this is not good for the batter but a batter should not last for about 3 hours either. The phone is great. The BIG BLACK MARK is the batter life. If anyone have any questions about this you may contact me.
Have a Well Day.
