"Price Plans" after the merger??

Does anyone know anything about plans after the merger? I heard there were going to be 17 price plans (in 3 categories) does anybody have any more info on it?

I am really looking forward to the merger!

hi I work in customer care for cingular and the three types of plans will be region nation and north america. I am also suspecting a big new product lanch to happen absed on the phones that will be available. PTT is coming sooner than later I can say no more.

Ok so basically we will be having the same plans we have now minus the gait plans. Then we will be getting PTT function? When is that expected out anyone know and will it be comparable to nextell?

supposedly is just as fast as nextel's, but with better coverage 😉

no idea on PTT pricing though

will it effect the current network bands? or will they make a new Mhz frequency for it? if you know

There is no need too, Cingular already owns and has deals with ATT and vice versa...It will be seamless to the customer.

if yo uare a cingular employee you can look in CSP for PTT info...its there

Correct there are (3) new plans as stated above with 19 new price plans. There will be a few new phones on Day (1) available.

Okay, i'm in the CSE/Clarify/Merger training right now and I haven't heard crap about the push to talk feature since i walked in this classroom three days ago...

so gimme some info...

I haven't either, but then again, I just went back into training for post paid. They'll probably teach us some merger training, or maybe not. We might not even have to deal with migrating ATT customers because we're outsourced. It is odd though that acoss the floor we also have ATT Customer service. Heh. Will they merge them all into one? Or what? I don't know.

The only thing I've seen about PTT was snooping around in Care looking for features that were old, trying to add them back to an account, and I saw a few Push to Talk thingies, but that's all I know. Heh.

Here's a hint.
CSP > Customer Support > PTT

I ain't posting what I found out on there for proprietary purposes, but if you're an employee, you know what CSP is and you know how to use it.
So have fun.

I KNOW! I work for AWS and we have this merger training compacted into a week. Hey, around here you get three weeks to know your stuff when you start. It's all going to be a bunch of craziness once the merger goes through. I think there'll be triple the call volume for customer care. I dunno though.

Well new reps usually get 4 weeks of training and 2 weeks of nesting but AWE reps actually will just have to learn background info about the company you guys will still be handling AWE legacy customers so you don't really have to deal with migrations if you applied to come to a orange center you would start new hire training. I feel sorry for us, we will have to do all the work!!!
