Bad Customers

I'm waiting for more dumb customer stories... I need them to get me through the day. The only thing close to one that I've had today was somebody who had two bills from two different months that claimed they were being double billed. Circling the dates on the bills with a pen seemed to solve that problem... but it's not good enough! I need more raving customer stories.

you mean that you have no stories about customers and proration.. when even after explaining to them what proration is and how it works, that they still wind up in your store ranting and raving that there bill was way higher than expected?

rebuttals include that it covered the partial month and next month of service all on one bill

well... yeah. but not today. they can't bust up my math skills though. I always break out a calculator and the calendar when they ask for an immediate price plan change and give them a before tax quote. stupid taxes.

Here's one for you guys:

I recieved a call today... the customer wanted us to make a ringtone for him. Then got upset when I told him we could not do that and the only ringtones available from us were on cingular.com... He then said that we should take requests to make the customer happy... even if it's only one customer requesting one ringtone... It took everything I had to not start laughing at him...

I had a customer once leave my store because he became upset when he asked for unlimited service for 19.99 a month and a camera phone for free, and I laughed...I couldn't help it.

every day. it's not too bad unless they blame YOU for not selling them insurance, when you know you offered it but they said no. if they dont have insurance, you sell them a phone you built from all the other broken phones in the back and make them put insurance on it. then you make the outright sale and a spiff from adding insurance.

I work for AT&T Wireless and I get calls from people who have gone over the minutes for at least 3 months and want adjustments done for the over-usage because AT&T Wireless didn't monitor their account and contacted them to advice them of such atrocity.
