there used to be a year ago, it was a link in the upper right hand corner, i don't know where it went......you used to tell it exactly what time you wanted it to send the message as well.

I don't know if you can from the website, but you can from any email client. You just email a short text based message to 5555555555@mycingular.com or something like that. If you send yourself an email via text you can get your phines text based address.

the other option would be to send it form your email to XXXXXXXXXX@cingularme.com and it will get to them in the form of a text message

here you go for my third posting...lol

once you become a cingular customer you can log into your account to send text messages to other cingular customers only....click the GO button next to your device on the myacccount home page and scroll down and on the right side you will see where you can send texts..

Now I wonder if you do this after someone adds the unlimited M2M, will this count as one of their package texts, or their M2M texts. The reason I ask is because when I did that, it said "From" and it had my mobile number in there.

I usually just send text messages via AIM. I've never done it from the Cingular web site before.

Read up a little buddy.

It's still possible. You just have to log into your account to do it now.

They did that to prevent spammers from abusing the service.

I didn't mean read up on your material. I meant up up further in the thread. Calm down a little.

And last I checked (yesterday), you can send text messages from within your account on the cingular website.
