you're a little off, it's a $5 add on to existing texting packages. So if you have the 4.99 package for 200 texts, and want to have unlimited m2m texting it'll be 9.99 (and you'll still have your 200 texts for other people).

ok..my plan with my company includes 300 free. So I would just add the unl. for 5?
...

Mar 1, 2007, 2:37 PM
Unfortunately, no. The smallest package will be the $9.99 one which includes 200 messages, and unlimited m2m messages.

There's not really an add on feature code for the unlimited at $5, it's a whole new set of codes for each current texting package.

Should have had this on first post - this is unlimited to other Cingular customers. Seems resonable to me.

Mixed emotions about this... while it has the capability to increase feature attach rates, there's also the possibility that people would opt out of normal media package for this $5 one. Not that I've ever had a problem with them, but our feature goals in our market were raised 133% this year.

The m2m is an add-on to a feature,

you were probably trying to stack message plans
like adding the 200 text plan to your 3000 text plan which they can't do

Mar 1, 2007, 1:35 PM
yes...but now I can add-on!!! March 4th?

it's $5 on top of it, it should help you more

$9.99 media bundle + $5 for unlimited m2m messaging=$15

not a bad feature attachment rate in my opinion

How about the family plans.. I know with family you can get 7 to 7 for 16.99. and share that price with the family plan. Would the 5 extra be for each phone or do they have a special rate for family for the unlimited text????? Thanks
