Frequency help!

does anyone know what frequency cing runs on in youngstown ohio .... i'm guessing 850mhz mainly but want to know before i purchase a new phone ... also does anyone know when youngstown ohio will go 3g and have video phoning?

All of the phones we sell are at least dual band... are you looking at buying a European model?

ya but if we use the 850 mainly it won't work cause the european phones usually only have 900 1800 and 1900

it probably can if you get a euro quad band phone, but i don't think it will support the video calling or the 3G

it is both 850 and 1900 so saith the great cingular data base

yes, cingy uses both, 850 being the primary freq, and 1900 as a back up, you won't get the same coverage with 1900......as far as 3G, your best off asking your local cingy people about your market.
