The att go phone system was shut down the last day of august for bill payments, and Sept 30 for usage. Anyone that doesn't switch over will have service terminated, lose their balance, and phone number.
It makes sense because the att go phones had an unbelievable churn rate. The cingular go phone kinda fixes that problem as the billing is auto recurring to a credit card or checking acct.
