Hmm, well I hope I know my stuff lol I work for Customer Care. Wink Wink

Now I can only really give you an educated opinion about our Digial service, because thats the department i'm in.

Now for what we offer, i'd probably use a phone like the Nokia 3560, because its pretty much the only color screen phone we have on the digital networks.

Now we do have alot of great phones for Digital, and well when it comes down to it, Nokia makes some great phones.
The main selling feature for me is the Lithium Ion battery. I'd never go anywhere without it. It comes with a Rapid charger as well which is a great peice of hardware.
Its stocked full of great features.
Its got great web accessability. Very simple and to the point, Its also full of the essentials. 250 entry phone book, two way text messaging, Its even got wireless office 2.0
Most features that are found on most phones like the calculator, calendar, games, etc, all on there, lemme just count how many features it has.
Here's a list of what we have in our system for features:

Answering/Making calls
Automatic answer
Automatic redial
Business cards
Caller ID
Calling card
Calling group
Call forwarding
Call log
Call restrictions
Call waiting
Digital/Analog selection
Display own number
Display settings
DTMF tones

Help menu
Keypad lock
Media Player
One touch dialing
Phone book

Good for travelling. As for GSM I'd totally go SET616, but then again I'm in love with that phone.

I hope that gives you a little bit of help.
But like I said, I only know TDMA not Digita.

As for a wireless provider other than attws, I'd have to choose between Vorizon or Cingular. Unfortunantly I'm not to infomred about them because i'm actually in Canada. So I'd go Fido. *shrugs* free m2m, perfect for me and girlfriend. Smile
