Does the mmode with gophone allow for use of the entire internet? as in, can I visit any wap site? Or is it just AT&T Wireless's intranet and a couple popular services?

Also, could I connect my Palm PDA or laptop to my phone with gophone service, either via infrared or data cable i s'pose, and be able to use mmode to access the internet?

I'm new to wireless internet, T-Mobile's prepaid only offers "tzones" which only allows access to certain stuff. I'm trying to find a way to get at the entire internet without needing to sign up for a contract plan. If that's impossible, I'll get a low level plan with T-Mobile.

Yes it is posible to get full access to the internet (or at least as much as you can get through a GSM phone) with the gophone plus plans. It comes out at .01 per Kb transferd so if you want to use it alot get a high plan I would have to say arround 53.98-73.98 other wise your looking at paying frequently for low level deals.

okay, I don't really plan on using it that much, as far as I know, a kylobyte goes pretty far with wap, I really just want to play with it to start. If I were to connect my Palm to my phone via IrDA or a data cable, would it be able to get at the internet then? I seem to remember having laptops dial 99# or something and that connected to the mmode thing. Or, is that somehow blocked? I know THAT would add up like crazy, but it'd be nice to play with a little.
I'm sorry if I sound like a moron, my wap/gprs data knowledge is rather rusty.
