perfect example of why convergys can't keep employees...blackmail
just had this email sent to me. It's the perfect example of why the turnover rate here is 60% (much higher for new hires). I was really close to quiting today after i reda this. I don't resopnd well to blackmail.
"If an agent on your team is monitored and they fail to do the call closing
survey on two occasions we are required to have a documented discussion
with the agent (with MO present). (DAP is done at this time if it is a
problem with skill and not simply refusing to do it)
If they have any further occurrences then it will proceed to a CAP 1."

Just wondering do you convergys people get paid well? minimum wage? over or around $10/hr? May move that way and was wondering if it is anything like my center
...
$9.25. It's very very low
...
is that in edmonton or halifax by any chance?? It is low and seems difficult to work there but it seems better than living in Cornwall

I still have not done that call closing and I refuse to. I have told my previous TL that I refuse to do it and my current TL hasn't brought it up. Despite a myriad of monitors reminding me to close with the call survey I have not received any form of feedback on it yet. Bring on the DAP and CAP 1-2-3. The survey is garbage end of story, most people don't even report it.

I never do it either. It is on one of my feedback forms but not as anything I lost points for. My TL is great he never mentions it. I wont do it, it's demeaning I mean the job sucks enough without making us look like complete morons. Yes sir I know I haven't been able to give you a single thing you asked for but can you rate me. Yeah right

Well i work at the welland location and i started @ $9.50/hr for training (6 weeks of Hell), then once on the floor i got a raise to $10.50/hr - and right now i'm a little over $11.00/hr & i get full beifits, RRSP's, and saving bonds - i don't mind the company, i just hate the people in charge.
...
In the Halifax centre we start at $8.50 for training and move up to 9.50 after that. We are getting ripped off.
...
Its probably dependant on the local economy.
ie; cost of living
...
Yeah which sucks, because school costs about 1500 more a year here then anywhere else!! So my cost of living is higher 😢
