I just went on ATTWS website, and they changed again! For the last month, whenever I punched in my zipcode 32614 it took it.(Gainesville, Fl.) I guess they finally figured out they goofed! Even though I have great TDMA service here, this still is an extended area for them. For the last 6 weeks, their website took my zip. Somebody there finally woke up, and realized why is this guy from Gainesville (me) always calling them up?
I found out that USCellular swapped out some areas here with ATTWS. But I can't get any info from USCelluar whether ATTWS will now take USCelluar home area as their own. Why the big mystery? Why doesn't USCelluar just come out and say ATTWS bought them out in this area and get with the program!
I have 50,000 co...

T-Mobile is a pretty good company if they have service in your area you should look into them as well..sometimes phone companies can forget about the "little guy" most of the time this is just something they cannot help, however that doesn't help you. With these continued problems you've been having, your frustration must only be mounting, since AT&T doesn't seem to be in a rush to assist you, I suggest you go to another company. It'd probably work out better for you, you sure lasted longer than i would've, but then again I don't really care if my number remains the same, so the company never really has a hold on me

The main and only reason I'm still with ATTWS service is: I was laid off from my job fairly recently. And all my applications and my resume still have my current ATTWS phonenumber on them. Once I get my new job, I can then dump ATTWS. I got rid of my landline 6 years ago.
All future employeers can only get in touch with me, with my current ATTWS number. This is why I'm stuck "between a rock and a hard place".
In it seems that all the reports and stats are telling me, that vrz and ATTWS have the best converage in Long Island, N.Y. which is still where my 80 year old Dad lives.
My research tells me that Cingular and T-Mobile are bad in L.I., N.Y.
I have no need for Nextel and Sprint is a total waste.
Until I'm done wi...

I'm sorry to hear about that 😢 Well, It figures that T-mobile would not be good in more populated areas 🙄 I live in a small kansas town and my girlfriend and brother and several family members have T-mobile and I don't think they EVER have any dropped calls..whereas I Have Verizon and my coverage is spotty at times..what's T-mobile thinking I would think all of the Cell companies would have every square inch of New York covered! Anyway, I'm certainly glad to hear that soon you'll be able to take your number with you..This should allow you to effectively select the service that's best for you! Best of Luck in everything!
