Do you have any idea when phone number portability will available in place, after the top 100 metro areas are done?
If ATTWS were to but out T-Mobile or Cingular how look wiould it take for their new "foot print" to kick in?
Thanks.

Hey, thanks for writing back so soon. I'm the "guy" in Gainesville, fl. I think you remember me. ATTWS TDMA works great here, I'm gust wondering if ATTWS who has already bought out part of USCEllular in this area, and if they can take over T-Mobile and/or Cingular. ATTWS may just end up with GSM service here. That way I wouldn't jump ship and keep my number.
I think in the next 3 months or so things will be changing in this area. So maybe I'll hang with ATTWS a little while longer.
If ATTWS GSM service was here, I wouldn't have a problem getting a phone that could both handle TDMA/GSM.
Please, if you here of any news of ATTWS making the above making the above town their "home area" please let me know. (ZIPCODE 32614)
As alway...

32614. is not an area AWS is covering.could not tell you if AWS will be covering that area code for TDMA or GSM ..i do know that a friend lives in OCala said that suipposedly AWS has put some towers north of there w/T-Mobile so it sounds like it could be a piggy back system .so it could be in AWS calling but not able to actually sell the service there..who knows.
