To tell you the truth I agree with you Foxfire. Attws has been yanking my change for a while now. To say I'm disgusted with them, is putting it "nicely".
I think Attws might might survive this battle, but they'll be in a big hurt.
What I don't understand is, where is everyone? I have been to the other forums, it seems everyone is in a coma. To bad, I miss the banter.
Check out Forbes mag. and the tech. mags. Attws at this time has the hightest defecting rate of all the carriers. I think Sprint is a close second.

yeah but once lnp but does come into effect aws is not the only company that will loose people, there are people on sprint and what not that want to go to aws, people are never happy with what they got. most people that cancel is because we wont give them the credits they want, and most times those credits are not warented. i do agree that you have been screwed around to a point, it was the people who signed you up for service that screwed you over, not the aws reps. you should have never been activated, and it is unfortunate now that you have found this out and unfortunatly for you we cant do to much about it since you have been on service for a while. hopefully one day we will offer service where you live and you can sign up then, but ...

Ihave nothing bad to say about the ATTWS REPS. You have a job to do, and you give it your best shot. If anything you have more insight and higher boiling point than most people. Yes I customers can be a big pain in the a**. You are only human, wireless is still a luxury to most third world nations, where food in some counties is a "luxury" without most of them die.

THANK YOU FOR THAT, we get a lot of calls where the people just think we are out to screw them over, unfortunatly they dont get that we are just doing our job and following policy and unfortunatly like it or not they have to follow the policy too. and they all seem to think that out of our 20 something million subscribers we choose them to screw over and nobody else. i am glad that you, although still upset, understand.

attws is the 2nd highest grossing wireless company. they're definitely not in a bad financial situation. there is not a flawless wireless company out there. i'm not sure which company you'd rather have your chain yanked by... but i can assure you i can tell you several reasons why they suck.

I agree with Foxfire and Chapperal. ATTWS wireless think they can do no wrong. Once they sign you up and take your money, you become just a number.
They should of never signed up Chapperal on ATTWS local plan, but they did. And ATTWS is so stubborn, and so hardcore in trying to make right this problem, I can see why so many people are going to defect from ATTWS after Nov.24.
Would been so hard to give this guy who has hung in there and given him TDMA national plan instead of jamming that local plan down Chapperal's throat!

no really LNP will go into effect, Line Number Portability, which means if you are not happy with your serivce provider you can leave and take your number with you! if you plan on doing this call your service provider to find out the proper way to do this, cause if you don't you could loose you number and not get it back!

That's the day that Cell Phone Number Portability takes effect, Meaning that you can keep your same cellular Number and switch carriers without giving that number up

Stop limiting November 24th LNP to just cell phones, on that day, one will be able to transfer their cell phone number to a landline carrier, as well as cell phone to cell phone carrier...

😲 Actually, this is not entirely true...the FCC has allowed lnp for the top 100 MSA's between cell phones and also from landline to cell phone, but not from cell to landline.
