I just purchased the new motorola v60 color and the manual says that i can download new ring tones by text message.

I was wondering how i would do that so i could get more rings instead of the 32 ones.

Thank you

you would go to the attwireless website, under ringtones and graphics and select a ringtone you want, after signing up with a login id, once you order it, it will charge your bill 99cents and a text message will be sent to you, open the message and select save, and then you just need to go to your ringtones option in the phone and selet the new tone. 🤣

I downloaded the ring tone from the attws website but when i opened the text message it was in some kind of code. I was playing with the phone and i noticed that there is a ring composer. The code looks like "notes" that i would need to put in for the composor.

If i have to manually put in the "notes" afterwards is gonna be awhile before i can listen to the tones.

the options that you suggested aren't available for me.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

you opened the message ad lookd at it, that pretty much ruines it, you cant open it. before you open it, there should be an options button, click that and there should be an option to save. it is there, you just need to be patient and look for it and not open the mesage. once you have saved it, it wil automatically appear as a ringtone.

aahh, i opened it, well anyway i returned the phone due the reception problems, the phone was never able to hold the digital signal always went into analog and could barely hear the other person so i returned it on monday so im done with it for awhile.

Maybe later i may go back with them but i don't see it any time soon. I have read that the service has be declining in the past few years. I don't want to invest in a company that can't keep their service running.

when i went in there to return the phone there was this other guy that had GSM that wasn't working since the 5th of nov and it was the 10th and the GSM the rep said comes up and goes back down.

Im glad no GSM for me

will go with verizon thinking of getting the a530 if n...

well the gsm was down because we had some problems with the gsm network, it has been on the news. but as for the digital, its not that we cant keep it up, its that we arent, all companies are going over to gsm and we are trying to get rid of digital, so we are not spending money keeping that system up, instead we are spending it to expand our gsm system so people can go over to it. but to be honest motorola v60 phones, are by far the worst phones we offer.

Do you think people will switch carriers and maybe go to vrz because they are having problems with their TDMA or GSM service?
