Choose Phone Number
I have tried about 6 times to get a phone number in my area with repeating numbers or sequences, like 202-0202 or 808-8008, etc. I am always told that these numbers are very hard to get, and that I should try back in a couple weeks to try again.
When I was with Sprint, you can get a list of numbers on the screen when you activate your phone, and if you're not happy with the numbers they've given you, you can get the next set of numbers.
ALL I WANT IS A COOL PHONE NUMBER! Anyone have a suggestion on how I can get something cool, and easy to remember without going through this headache every 2 weeks?

u can ask them to look for you in the vanity number search if you want them to give you a cool number or a specific number JUST BECAUSE u want it att will charge 50.00 25.00 for changing numbers and 25.00 for specific number = 50.00 if you are looking for that number and they tell you it is unavailable it is unavailable no exceptions if u understand what i mean they cant give u something already taken or if those numbers are not leased (unavailable ) to att wireless

Have they done just plain old vanity number..on tdma it is 50.00 to get it if available.

is it really that hard to remember any phone number. I mean come on dude it is only 10 (1-9) numbers and 3 of them should be really easy!
