Has anyone heard anything else about an Attws merger with T-Mobile? Or on the other side of the coin, Verizon merger or take over of Alltell?
Most likely the first place we will hear about is in the New York Times, or from the Wall Sreet stock reports.
When you have to many mergers, and competition goes away, prices go up, don't you agree.
Probably in the next six months a lot of "things" will occur where if they don't merge, they sink.

Competition is good but in the case of wireless companies it has gone to far to an unhealthy extreme. Too many companies are offering deals which make them unprofitable and ultimately hurt the quality of service they provide. Also when so many wireless compainies are unprofitable it deters investors from providing the capital for the developement of new technologies. I feel the satisfaction of customers will be most served by increased quality and offerings found in new technology that will provide better quality of voice services, advances in service management, and the mobile access to information and entertainment content. Preach on! I get so sick of all these people that want no contract and $20 for unlimited minutes with a FREE phone that will never drop a call with no roaming charges anywhere because "Well someday I might go to Montana and I don't want to pay anything extra if I do go there" all these people have it in their head that Wireless service is is a right when it is not it! This is a business and like all businesses we are here to make money for our stock holders. You were right on with this one!
