Why on their map does it show some of their service area as not being covered by mobile to mobile? Is this TDMA roaming? The orange outline doesn't always cover the orange service area.

Hello Emurillojr, I know I don't know you but I hate you even more than attws customers. Why do you come on here and post replies to thing you have no idea about!!! Please stop trying to help people or if you do make sure you know what you are talking about!

1. go to CCNet
2. click on maps for National Plan
3. Click on M2M Service Area
4. Click update layers.
5. Then answer the question again!
6. Stop pretending like you are MR. ATTWS

the national plan in theory works only on the aws network. but we do have agreements with some of our affiliates to extend that area. thats why sometimes you do get charged roaming when your phone says extended area, and sometimes you dont. the reason the mtm coverage is smaller is because it only works on the true aws netwok, it will not work on our affiliate towers. just like with the local plans the mtm coverage is not as great as the actual coverage. i hope that answers your question
