You could tell her she is SOL but to try to save the phone by removing the battery, replacing it, then using a blow-dryer to dry up all of the excess moisture built up in the phone. (Takes about 1-2 Hours.)

She will have to replace the battery though the battery is probably shot.

I saved my Samsung a500 before doing this. (299.99 Cdn. value)

yah you can save it....if your quick about it, but i asked her what kind of condition the phone was in, it was still assembled and she could see water floating in the screen, so i assume by this womans umm.... common sense definency 😛 that she probably left it in the toilet for a minute and then left it to dry assembled

Actually, one of my coworkers found a phone just off the shore of the local river. He took off the battery cover and let it sit to dry for about a week. It works fine. It depends on how you handle the phone after a catastrophe like that whether it will work again. Yeah, the liquid damage indicator will be red, but the thing could still work. 😁

That being said... if my phone fell in the toilet, I believe I would have to leave it there. bleck

Who knows, but seriously it should work for any model of phone. (I sat in a hot tub with the phone in my shorts pocket for 1 minute + and then it worked like a charm) 😁
