I'm trying to go online and do these resume and job set up things but the crazy people never contact me back. It's been almost a month and I haven't heard a thing. It's not because I'm lame or anything is it? I have awesome credentials and references. I should be hired by AWS in a heartbeat.

Some times if you have to much credentials, they'll think twice. Usually its "can we afford him" or they'd rather have a trained monkey doing the job; easy to manipulate and underpay. No one with a mind of there own. 😢

When I applied online, it took 2-3 months to get a call back. It worked out that I was laid off from my old job on a Friday and started with AWS on the next Monday, and that was 3 years ago. For some, they get the call back after applying, but don't get to start for a month or so. It just depends on how many traning classes they have going on at the time at that particular location. Depending on what you'll be doing, a training class can last from 2 to 7 weeks. And there are only so many trainers certified for new hire training.
AWS also hires thru temp agencies, at least here in Oklahoma.
I work in one of the bigger, direct call centers (not 3rd party) and we are hiring like crazy. I've been told to expect about 350-400 new reps...
