Is ATT going to carry the Nokia 6230?
i work in customer care for AT&T wireless, and we haven't been informed that we will come out with that phone as of yet.... what is it about that phone that you like, maybe i can find something else that is compatiable 😁

I'm loking for a small phone with all the features that the 6230 has - camera, radio, MP3 plaer, 65,000 color, display, express-on covers, bluetooth... The 6230 seems to have it all. I really like having small phones

the other person who told you the 6220 was mistaken, they should have told you the 6620!!!!, it is very similar to what you are looking for, i can call Nokia to find out for you , but the 6620 has MP3 player, some info on phonescoop may not be available . Like some of the features that the 6620 has, it has bluetooth, and picutre messaging, infrared. other things as well check it out and tell me what you think

I saw the 6620 in person today. I really like it, but it's a little too big. I like keeping my phone in my pocket. I'm thinking about it, though. Might end up getting it. I really would like to get that 6230! MAybe I'll just buy it at a Cingular store!

if you get that phone the 6230 at a Cingular , I'm not sure if you would be able to use it on AT&T eventhough we are merging, cause we still both have our own phones that we carry. Most phones are locked because they are designated for certain carriers, so i just thought i would let you know to give you the heads up

I really doubt that you could use it. Because as far as Cingular and ATTWS are concerned, it is still business as usual untill the merger goes threw. So that means Locked phones.

I just bought a nokia 6230b (usa version) off of "Chippery9" on Howardforum.com , you have to buy an Unlocked version so it will work with any gsm carrier ( att, cingular or tmobile) if you buy it from cingular as far as i know you can only use it with cingular for now atleast. phonescoop says August 04 for release to cingular but its starting to get closer to the end of the month now so i dont know if that is really correct.
